Ohio University Chemical Engineering Graduate Admissions Information

The Department of Chemical Engineering offers scholarships, research assistantships, and graduate assistantships (i.e., teaching assistantships) to qualified M.S. and Ph.D. applicants. GRE scores are required. For foreign students, the TOEFL score is required unless you have a bachelor's degree from a U.S. school.

To be considered for admission to the M.S. program, prospective graduate students must have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a closely related field. International students must have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.

You must send your application package directly to the Ohio University Office of Graduate Student Services which is indicated on the application form. Do not send it to the Department or an individual faculty member because it has to be processed at the university level first. Incomplete applications will not be forwarded to our department for final acceptance decisions. Please do not ask our department for your application status if your application is incomplete or less than a month old. This is because your file is mostly likely still at the university level.
