The first good thing about EERL that I noticed is, it is a team of young people full of energy, enthusiasm and the motivation to do something new. The team is really encouraging to me, they teach me what I do not know, support me in every new thing that I come up with. It is a very friendly atmosphere, the kind anyone would like to work in. The second thing that impressed me is that, we do application oriented research. In here each one of us has been given certain equipments under our control, this gives us the sense of responsibility and essentially some leadership qualities. Above all we have a state of art laboratory, which helps us do the kind of research we wish to, never hampered by hurdles. We do handle all the equipments by ourselves, instead of some technician doing it for us, this gives us the hands on experience A right place for one to get his PhD. I have been given the independence and full freedom in this lab, which enhances my ability to conduct research. Above all I love it.
